Invitational Match Guidelines
PSTC Invitational Match Guidelines
Everyone using the courts for Invitational Matches must adhere to these guidelines.
Keep at least 6 feet away from any other person while playing or waiting for a court.
Restrooms will be available but we recommend using the restroom at home before coming to the tennis facility.
Masks are required when going inside to use restrooms.
Wear a mask if watching tennis matches with others.
Bring your own water bottle and towel.
You are encouraged to bring your own hand sanitizer and to use it before and after each playing session.
Avoid touching court gates, fences, benches, etc. if you can.
Food is not be permitted.
Preparing to Play
Full names of all players on each court must be provided to the match captains to support contact tracing.
We will provide 1 can of balls for each court. All players are welcome to bring their personal can of balls for their use only.
Members & guests will not be able to purchase cans of balls at PSTC.
Arrive as close to match warm up time as possible, no more than 10 minutes in advance.
Third sets will default to playing a 10-pt tie-breaker unless all 4 players agree to play a full third set.
Remain apart from other players when taking a break.
Avoid touching your face after handling a ball, racquet or other equipment. Wash your hands promptly if you have touched your eyes, nose or mouth.
Avoid sharing food, drinks, or towels.
Leave the court as quickly as reasonably possible after you’re done playing.
Do not use the locker room or changing area.
No extra-curricular or social activity should take place. No congregation after playing.
Do not enter the facility if any of the following apply to you.
Do not feel well.
Exhibit or experience symptoms of COVID-19.
Received a positive test result for COVID-19 and have not completed a full 14-day quarantine.
Had contact with someone who has received a positive test result for COVID-19 or is otherwise believed to be infected with COVID-19 and have not completed a full 14-day quarantine.
Traveled to a high-risk area for COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
