PSTC Invitational Match Guidelines
Everyone using the courts for Invitational Matches must adhere to these guidelines.
General
- Keep at least 6 feet away from any other person while playing or waiting for a court.
- Restrooms will be available but we recommend using the restroom at home before coming to the tennis facility.
- Masks are required when going inside to use restrooms.
- Wear a mask if watching tennis matches with others.
- Bring your own water bottle and towel.
- You are encouraged to bring your own hand sanitizer and to use it before and after each playing session.
- Avoid touching court gates, fences, benches, etc. if you can.
- Food is not be permitted.
Preparing to Play
- Full names of all players on each court must be provided to the match captains to support contact tracing.
- We will provide 1 can of balls for each court. All players are welcome to bring their personal can of balls for their use only.
- Members & guests will not be able to purchase cans of balls at PSTC.
- Arrive as close to match warm up time as possible, no more than 10 minutes in advance.
Match Play
- Third sets will default to playing a 10-pt tie-breaker unless all 4 players agree to play a full third set.
- Remain apart from other players when taking a break.
- Avoid touching your face after handling a ball, racquet or other equipment. Wash your hands promptly if you have touched your eyes, nose or mouth.
- Avoid sharing food, drinks, or towels.
After Playing
- Leave the court as quickly as reasonably possible after you’re done playing.
- Do not use the locker room or changing area.
- No extra-curricular or social activity should take place. No congregation after playing.
Do not enter the facility if any of the following apply to you.
- Do not feel well.
- Exhibit or experience symptoms of COVID-19.
- Received a positive test result for COVID-19 and have not completed a full 14-day quarantine.
- Had contact with someone who has received a positive test result for COVID-19 or is otherwise believed to be infected with COVID-19 and have not completed a full 14-day quarantine.
- Traveled to a high-risk area for COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
